Growth & Wellness
Services
At Growth & Wellness we offer a variety of services. Most services begin with an Initial Intake where we will get to know each other and identify treatment recommendations. We offer both in person and telehealth appointments.
Initial Intake / Diagnostic Assessment
The first two sessions will be an initial intake (Diagnostic Assessment) where we will review the intake paperwork and gather information about reasons for seeking therapy including current and past life experiences.
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is a personalized approach that focuses on your unique experiences. Together we will identify your goals for therapy and process internal and external experiences (e.g., emotions, thought patterns, stressors, distressing memories, relationships). You have the opportunity to learn more about yourself and gain insight into your experiences in the world. Individual therapy can also include learning and developing coping skills, mindfulness, and tools to live a more fulfilled and meaningful life. Consistency in therapy is important for progress; therefore, individual therapy is typically scheduled once a week.
At Growth & Wellness we see ages 18+.
Couples & Relational Therapy
*We are currently full and are not accepting new couples or family therapy clients.
Couples and relational therapy focuses on exploring relationship patterns, improving communication, identifying boundaries, and removing barriers that may be keeping your relationship stuck. Through this, you can come to a mutual understanding of your hopes for your relationship.
Premarital Assessments
PREPARE / ENRICH
PREPARE/ENRICH is an evidence-based assessment that has been proven to improve satisfaction in relationships. The assessment is commonly used as a premarital assessment but can be used with married and/or couples in long term relationships. The couple will fill out the assessment and the facilitator will review the results with the couple. The results will help the couple engage in conversations about topics that you may not have talked about or considered previously. For more information refer to the PREPARE/ENRICH website:
EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a psychotherapy treatment to help people heal from emotional, mental, and/or physical distress due to distressing or traumatic memories and experiences. EMDR is extensively researched and is a method proven to help people recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and panic disorders. EMDR is effective for alleviating trauma-related symptoms, whether the traumatic event occurred recently or many years ago. For more information about EMDR, please click the following links:
Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you do not have insurance or we are out of network, we have a Patient Election to Self- Pay form, that will include the cost per session that you will sign prior to your first session.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
